Maison Edouard Delaunay unveils an exceptional collection dedicated to the great white wines of the Côte de Beaune: Meursault Premier Cru “Charmes” 2019, Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru “Clos Saint-Jean” 2020, and Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru “Les Referts” 2021. Three legendary crus gathered in a single case to celebrate the refinement and diversity of Burgundy’s Golden Triangle — where power, minerality and elegance reach their most perfect harmony.
Between Meursault, Puligny and Chassagne lies the very heart of the Côte de Beaune — a mosaic of exceptional climates. Here, the variations of marl, clay and limestone soils shape wines of striking individuality, yet united by a shared nobility. The Premiers Crus of this Golden Triangle combine the generosity of Meursault, the precision of Puligny, and the ample structure of Chassagne — a trinity that defines the world’s most celebrated Chardonnay terroirs.
Sourced mainly from the upper part of the vineyard, Charmes-Dessus, this Meursault reveals remarkable richness and power balanced by a refined saline tension. Its expressive bouquet opens with chestnut, fresh hazelnut and verbena, followed by orange blossom, lemon and acacia honey. On the palate, its balance between generosity and minerality is masterful — evolving toward crème brûlée, beeswax and flinty nuances. A grand, age-worthy white Burgundy of great length and complexity.
Nestled at the center of the village, this terroir of marl, clay and limestone produces a wine of remarkable depth and breadth. Its golden robe shines with brilliance. The nose is intense and expressive, evoking orange zest, mandarin and freshly cut herbs, lifted by floral and citrus notes. The palate is rich and generous, yet perfectly balanced by freshness and subtle minerality. Delicate hints of vanilla and yellow fruits lead to a long, elegant finish. A splendidly complex Chassagne of great maturity and poise.
Bordering Meursault, the Les Referts vineyard embodies the quintessential Puligny style: purity, tension and grace. The bouquet opens with mint, eucalyptus and licorice, unfolding into aromas of candied orange peel, vanilla and blond tobacco. The palate is both rich and finely chiseled, combining white chocolate, hazelnut and dried apricot notes with a remarkably fresh and precise finish. A wine of finesse and clarity — elegant, long and perfectly balanced.
Each cuvée is crafted through artisanal winemaking that honors both fruit and terroir: gentle pressing, natural fermentations, and long ageing in fine-grained French oak, with a discreet proportion of new barrels. This meticulous approach reflects the Maison Edouard Delaunay philosophy — the pursuit of purity, balance and emotion. A limited edition collection for connoisseurs of great white Burgundy and collectors of rare experiences.
