Tasting notes The nose is expressive and complex, both fruity (cherry, crisp fruit) and spicy (cinnamon, gingerbread). Notes of forest undergrowth (humus, fresh herbs) can also be detected. The palate is rich and fruity (raspberry, cherry), velvety – deserving of its Premier Cru appellation. The finish is fresh, almost mentholated and boasts elegant tannins.
Tasting notes Magnificent deep red in colour. Rich, complex nose reminiscent of spices, with a resinous hint of pine sap and intense aromas of blue fruit (blueberry). Superb, powerful, concentrated start to the palate featuring f lavours of wild fruit and some smoky notes. This is a very fine, well-balanced wine that boasts magnificent cellaring potential.
