A unique vertical collection offering a journey through three interpretations of this emblematic terroir, where depth, spice and elegance intertwine over time.

The Terroir – Between depth and refinement

Nestled in the heart of the northern Premiers Crus of Nuits-Saint-Georges, on the Vosne-Romanée side, the “Aux Murgers” parcel lies mid-slope at around 250 meters in altitude. Its east-facing exposure and deep marl-and-limestone soils encourage profound root development, yielding wines of great richness, a supple texture and silky tannins. This singular geological character lends the wines their spicy backbone and refined, racy elegance.

The Three Vintages – Three faces of a characterful Premier Cru

2017 – The grace of classicism

Deep red with bluish hues. The nose opens with fresh notes of blackcurrant, blackberry and raspberry coulis, joined by balsamic hints of licorice, mint and a touch of basil, before evolving toward spices such as paprika and pepper. The palate combines depth and energy – rich, vibrant and firmly structured, with ripe, spicy tannins. A harmonious wine with impressive ageing potential.

2018 – Intensity and elegance

With its deep bluish-red color, this vintage reveals a slightly balsamic nose with touches of juniper, followed by blue fruits (blueberry), cherry and cassis. Subtle aromas of spice (nutmeg) and flowers (peony, rose) precede noble woody notes (rosewood, lightly smoked sandalwood). On the palate, the tannins are present yet delicate; the broad texture expresses the fruit’s flesh, supported by a fresh and spicy framework. An elegant wine of great purity — both ample and refined.

2019 – Depth and freshness

A deep, dark color. Expressive aromas of blue fruits (blueberry, blackberry), cherry and cassis, enhanced by nuances of thyme, menthol and freshly cut wood. The palate reveals notes of cassis and dark fruits, enriched with touches of beeswax and fresh spices (clove, pepper, juniper). Elegant and structured, this wine requires time to open; it combines freshness, density and aromatic complexity with remarkable persistence.

Ageing – The precision of craftsmanship

Each vintage is crafted with artisanal care: hand-harvested grapes, natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and a long maturation in oak barrels (50% new) for 16 to 20 months, depending on the year. This meticulous approach reveals the purity of the fruit, the depth of the terroir, and the velvety texture characteristic of this exceptional Premier Cru. Production remains highly limited: fewer than 600 bottles per vintage — a true collector’s gem.
